Spoon Tomato
Intense, sweet-tart burst — addictive snacking tomato
The smallest tomato in the garden — fruits the size of a large blueberry — and arguably the most intensely flavored. Spoon tomato is one of the oldest tomato types, closest to the wild Solanum pimpinellifolium ancestor. The tiny fruits burst with concentrated sweet-tart flavor and the plants are extraordinarily vigorous and productive.
Placed in 5-gal containers scattered for visual effect, paired with Mexican sour gherkins. Extremely productive.
Why This Plant Is Here
Spoon Tomato has a specific role in this year's garden: flavor, beauty, pollinator support, story, or seasonal production.
