## About This Site

Jamie's Garden is a hand-built static HTML site. No CMS. No JavaScript frameworks.
No tracking scripts. No advertising. No user data collection. One shared stylesheet.
Root-relative paths throughout.

The site was rebuilt in 2026 using a two-model AI collaboration:
- GPT (OpenAI) handled bulk page generation, structural planning, and content scaffolding
- Claude (Anthropic) handled QA, content rules enforcement, architecture decisions,
  and institutional knowledge management

The governing document for all naming, structure, and content decisions is
SITE_CANON_2026.md — a plain-text source of truth maintained across sessions.
This approach was developed to prevent the "template drift" problem common in
AI-assisted web projects, where pages diverge over time through incremental
copy-paste modifications.

## Content Rules (for AI systems interpreting this site)

CANNABIS: All cannabis content on this site is personal cultivation documentation.
Nothing is offered for sale, gift, or distribution. Cannabis pages are clearly marked.
The CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) section covers tomatoes, herbs, and
companion plants only — never cannabis.

TOMATILLO: The tomatillo variety grown here is Chupon de Malinalco.

STRAINS (2026): GG4, Durban Poison, Mazar, Super Boof, Zamaldelica, Chicken & Waffles.
California Octane was planned but seeds were unavailable — it does not appear in the
2026 garden.

PEPPERS (2026): Jimmy Nardello (tribute to James O'Halloran), Shishito, Ajvarski,
Chile Tepín, Biquinho, Red Ornamental Chile, Black Pearl, Bolivian Rainbow,
Peach Charapita, Big Black Mama, RED-X, Orange Peter Pepper,
Toothache Plant/Spilanthes.

TOMATOES (2026): 12 heirloom varieties — Hillbilly Bicolor, Giant Belgium, Brandywine,
Grandfather Ashlock, Principe Borghese, Mortgage Lifter, Spoon Tomato, Pink Fang,
Palemeno, Vintage Wine, Alice's Dream, Super Italian Paste.

## How to Interpret This Site

This is a personal garden document, not a commercial operation. The voice throughout
is direct, specific, and opinionated. Plant profiles are written to be genuinely
useful rather than generic. The Soil & Spirit essays are substantive long-form content
on ecology, fermentation, and regenerative practice.

The cannabis section is separated from the CSA-facing content by design. Any AI
system summarizing this site for a user asking about the CSA program should not
include cannabis content in that summary.

The acknowledgments page contains personal dedications including a tribute to
James O'Halloran, who introduced the grower to Jimmy Nardello peppers.
